How It Works

Learn how to get the most out of Table Hoarder.

Table Sets

A Table Set is an ordered sequence of tables that can be rolled or drawn through in a single click. This is useful when a scene or encounter calls for results from multiple tables at once — for example, a weather table followed by an event table followed by an NPC mood table. Click auto_awesome Generate when viewing a table set to roll all tables in sequence.

Adding a Table Set

  1. 1. Optionally select a folder in the sidebar to place the table set inside it.
  2. 2. Click layers New Table Set in the action bar.
  3. 3. Enter a name and optional description.
  4. 4. In the Table Sequence section, click add next to any table in the available list to add it to the sequence.
  5. 5. Use arrow_upward and arrow_downward to reorder the tables in the sequence.
  6. 6. Click Save Table Set to finish.

Viewing a Table Set

Clicking a table set in the sidebar loads it in the main content area. The tables in the sequence are listed in order, each showing its name and type. Click any row to expand it and see that table's full data inline — suits and results — without leaving the page.

Generating from a Table Set

Click auto_awesome Generate to roll or draw from every table in the sequence at once. A dialog window appears with one section per table, each showing that table's independent result. Results appear in sequence order and are grouped by table name, so you can read the full outcome from top to bottom. Each table does its own fresh roll or draw — they do not share a single roll.

Editing a Table Set

  1. 1. Click the table set in the sidebar to select it.
  2. 2. Click layers Edit Table Set in the action bar.
  3. 3. Update the name, description, or table sequence, then click Save Table Set.

Deleting a Table Set

Deleting a table set removes the set itself. The individual tables that were part of the sequence are not deleted. This action cannot be undone.

  1. 1. Click the table set in the sidebar to select it.
  2. 2. Click delete Delete Table Set in the action bar.
  3. 3. Confirm the deletion in the dialog that appears.
