Import Items
Import Items lets you copy a list or table from one of your other workspaces into the current one. The item is fully duplicated — changes made to the copy will not affect the original. The imported item is placed at the currently selected location in the sidebar: inside the selected folder, or at the workspace root if nothing is selected.
Importing an Item
- 1. Optionally select a folder in the sidebar to place the imported item inside it. If nothing is selected, the item will be added to the workspace root.
- 2. Click move_to_inbox Import Item in the action bar.
- 3. Select the source workspace you want to import from. Only your other workspaces are shown.
- 4. Select the item you want to import from the list that appears. Items are shown with their type icon. Sub-lists are labelled with a Sub-List badge.
- 5. Review any notice shown below the item list, then click Import to complete the operation.
What Gets Copied
- Lists — all fields and row data are copied into a new standalone list.
- Tables — the table configuration and all of its rows are copied.
Importing a Sub-List
Sub-lists belong to a parent list in their original workspace and cannot exist as sub-lists in a different workspace. When you import a sub-list, it is automatically converted into a standalone list. The imported list will contain the sub-list's currently selected rows, with any field overrides already applied to the copied values.
